Surprise Everyone with a Spooky Box
This post is sponsored by HERSHEY’S and Publix. The opinions and text are all mine.
BOO! If you like to celebrate Halloween with tricks AND treats, you have come to the right place. I'm so excited to share how I'm creating Spooky Boxes filled with the best Hershey Halloween goodies including KIT KAT® and ALMOND JOY candies available at Publix. For the ultimate twist, add a spider on a string that pops out and "surprises" your friends when the gift box is open.
It's the perfect time to start planning for your Halloween festivities. Surprising your friends and family with a treat like this will really make the season memorable. Get your camera out and capture the moment they are spooked by the rubbery spider and then quickly delighted with the delicious selection of HERSHEY'S treats inside.
Making these fun DIY gift boxes for Halloween starts with a trip to Publix to stock up on classic favorites like KIT KAT® and ALMOND JOY candies in a Jumbo Bag. Add these fun seasonal items to your shopping list and so much more.

HOW TO SET UP A SPOOKY BOX
Ready to trick a friend? Let me show you how to set up your own creepy spider surprise gift box.
First, use superglue to adhere elastic cord to a big rubbery spider and let dry completely.
Use decorative duct tape to secure the other end of the spider to the bottom of your gift box lid.
Set the lid aside and prepare your bow if you are making your own or simply attach yours if you have one that is already made. I used wired ribbon and a glue gun to make mine.
Add your gift box filler to the bottom of your box and then layer in your HERSHEY’S candies and other Halloween trinkets to fill the box.
Tuck the rubber spider into the center of the box and place the lid on top of the box. Voila!
Your spooky boxes are now ready to share!!
