You really can't go wrong with dinosaur themed gifts for little ones. They are always a huge hit. If you have gifted dino treats in the past, you might be out of ideas at the point. That's why I'm swooping in with something a little unique this Valentine's day.

Many other ideas on the web say something to the tune of you are "dino-mite". Super cute, but if you have given out V-day gifts with this saying for 3 years straight, it's time for a new twist.

These little wind-up toys totally cracked me up and were love at first sight. They are nearly guaranteed to make friends crack a smile once they wind them up and let them charge on. It's hysterical.

DINOSAUR TOY VALENTINE IDEA

These mini dino gifts make for the perfect stand-alone gift but they also are perfect to adding to a larger gift basket kind of gift, too. This is a fun alternative to classic dinosaur pun Valentine's Day gifts.

You could say this little gift is small but mighty. Friends will be roaring with laughter once they wind-up and let this little creatures rip.

HOW TO MAKE DINO VALENTINES

Once you print your desired amount of gift tags, be sure to trim them out an get your tape ready.

I tried a few different ideas to attach the mini tags onto the wind-up toys, I found that simply taping onto the back of the dino heads was the absolute best method. It's also the easiest thing to do. There is nothing to it and you can make these cute gifts in just minutes. Score.

Bonus. The printed tags will be easily removable so that they toys can be played with after V-day celebrations are said and done. These cute little trinkets are perfect for school friends and so much more.

Voila. It really is just so easy to put these together. Valentine's day smiles are almost guaranteed when recipients receive these goofy gifts. I had a heck of a time playing with them while I was preparing my photos for this post.

WHAT SHOULD I PRINT GIFT TAGS ON?

You can use any kind of white printer paper that you would like, but I recommend using a thicker cardstock instead. Cardstock will make the gift tag more substantial and it will have less risk of bending and getting ruined. Using a thicker cardstock kind of paper will also make the colors appear bolder.
