Pumpkin Spice Coffee Bar
It's almost pumpkin spice season. Each year there's debate on when is too soon to get your PSL on. With more people looking for a reason to celebrate, I'm thinking this might be the earliest year yet. This Pumpkin Spice Coffee Bar is actually an iced coffee bar that was dreamed up in honor of my son's birthday a couple of weeks ago. We had a delish time, so I wanted to share with you, too. Enter Pumpkin Spice Iced Coffee heaven. This post is not sponsored, however I reached out to Torani and they generously sent product to facilitate this tasty fun. Big thank you to them. ICED COFFEE BAR FOR FALL
Coming from New England, fall was a really big deal for my family. Many of our days were laced with Pumpkin Iced Coffee from "the Dunk" and a supermarket pumpkin pie. Add a pumpkin candle, preferably from Yankee Candle to the mix to make the simple moment perfect.
Here is an outline of the basic items needed to put together a perfect Pumpkin Spice Bar:
- Iced Coffee (Homemade or Prepared)
- Pumpkin Spice Syrups and Sauces
- Iced Coffee Fixings (Creamer, Sweeteners)
- Sprices, Sauces and Whipped Cream
- Pumpkin Desserts or Any Dessert with Fall Vibes.
Having moved to Florida about 5 years ago, things have changed so much. However, the one thing that has NOT changed are our pumpkiny rituals. It's taken some getting used because all things pumpkin are generally not available as early in the season here. My son was just talking to us about how he really missed those days, so we thought it would be so fun to surprise him with the goodness of back "home" for his July birthday. {I never said we were normal, ha.} Did I tell you we have three Christmas trees up right now?}
Join us in all things pumpkin leading up to at least Halloween and beyond.
HOW TO MAKE PUMPKIN SPICE ICED COFFEE
There are a few ways you can set up a pumpkin spice coffee bar. You could brew pumpkin flavored coffees or you could brew regular flavors and just add all the fixings so that people can customize their own. That is what having a food or beverage bar is all about. Options galore!
Another option is to purchase ready-to-drink iced coffees and this is the route that I went with for these final photos. For my son's actual birthday, I brewed my own coffee which took like all day. So, be certain to choose which option will work best between making your own and just buying it as-is.
PUMPKIN SYRUPS, SAUCES AND SPICES
To make this yummy coffee bar complete, you will definitely want to add all the yummy pumpkin flavored things. Add your favorite pumpkin spice blend or simply make your own. Choose the best sauces and syrups so guests can have fun with their own yummy fall creations.
These Torani products could not be more perfect. Here is what I used.
- Torani Puremade Pumpkin Spice
- Torani Puremade Salted Caramel
- Torani Puremade Zero Sugar Hazelnut
- Torani Puremade Pumpkin Pie Sauce
- Torani Puremade Caramel Sauce
Note that I purchased pumps for the syrup bottles separately which is the perfect touch when setting up a coffee bar. For the original party, I also included their Sugar Free Pumpkin Pie Syrup.
PUMPKIN SPICE FOODS
Pumpkin pie is going to always be a perfect idea! Pumpkin shaped cookies are a fun one, too! Homemade might be the best way to go if you are hosting earlier in the season like me.
These mini pumpkin and caramel hand pies would be so yummy to serve with coffee this season.
Instead of homemade for this, I went with some simple alternatives.
Other non-pumpkin treats that work for this idea are cinnamon based or fall desserts. Enter cinnamon powdered donuts, Pirouettes and Pecan Swirls.
HOW TO DECORATE A COFFEE BAR
- Signs. Store-bought or Printable.
- Matching Balloons and Accessories like Plastic Wear, Napkins, Drink Stirrers
- Ribbon. Tie around coffee bar items
When planning to set up a yummy coffee bar whether for your family, a small gathering or a large crowd, there are a few basic ideas to start you off. The first is to make it clear what this whole thing is about. When it comes to cute food bars, I'm all about the perfect signage. Surfing on the ole Amazon, I found the very perfect one for this coffee bar over here. I'm super obsessed. It's small and was priced right for my budget.
The second way to declare that this is a yummy little party table is to decorate with simple things like balloons. I found the absolute cutest pumpkin balloon here that I think was perfect for this and for like any other cute fall and Halloween activities, too.
Other special add-ons that I used include pretty matching ribbon, faux pumpkins and the cutest pumpkin stirrers. {Scroll to the bottom of the post where I put all of these products linked together for your convenience.}
Now that you have all of your pumpkin goodness together, it's time to celebrate. Sit back and sip that delish creation! Don't forget to finish off with whipped cream, a dash of pumpkin spice and some pumpkin pie or caramel drizzle (or both.. no judging here). SO yum.
