These ugly sweater cookies could not be easier to maker! I chose the most simple ideas to decorate them to keep them truly fuss free and officially a holiday hack! Here are the simple things you will need to make them:
- Store Bought Sugar Cookie Dough
- Pink Cookie Icing
- Sweater Cookie Cutter
- Cute Sprinkles and Candy Decor
Here are the super simple steps in order to make these Christmas cookies. Get ready for yummy goodness with none of of the stress.
After you bake the store-bought cookie dough shaped into cute little sweaters, let them cool completely before icing.
Next, use pink cookie icing to neatly cover your sweater shaped sugar cookies and let the icing set for about 5 minutes.
Finally, all you need to do is take your favorite sprinkles and candy decorations to make your cookies as cute or funny as you want to. Easy Ugly Sweater Cookies
Easy Ugly Sweater Cookies Recipe for Christmas Parties. Add cute holiday sprinkles and candies.
Ingredients
- Pillsbury Sugar Cookie Dough (16.5 oz)
- ½ Cup All Purpose Flour
- 2 Tubes Pink Cookie Icing
- Christmas Sprinkles + Candy Decor
- Tools: Sweater Man Cookie Cutter
Instructions
Preheat oven to 325°F
Knead cookie dough with all the purpose flour on a floured surface.
Roll the dough out until the dough is about ¼" thick
Use Sweater Shaped Cookie Cutter to make 8-10 cookies
Place the cookies on a non-stick baking sheet
Add your baking sheet to the freezer for 10 minutes or refrigerator for 15 minutes to help preserve shape.
Bake for 8-11 minutes.
Cool completely before icing.
Cover cookies with pink cookie icing and let set for about 5 minutes.
Add Christmas themed sprinkles and cute holiday candies to decorate.
