MICKEY MOUSE CHRISTMAS FOOD IDEAS
Are you ready for simple but fun Mickey inspired holiday party foods? I totally have your back! They are so easy to put together.
Give store-bought cupcakes a Mickey makeover.
Here's what to do:
- Place your store-bought cupcakes into Christmas themed cupcake liners.
- Use OREO Cookies to make Mickey "Ears"
This could not get any simpler!
These carnival cupcake liners are a perfect option.
Turn a gelatin snack cup into a Mickey Santa Treat.
This is my favorite Mickey Christmas dessert.
Here's what to do:
- Use red store-bought gelatin snack cups.
- Add a strip of black foam or glitter paper with a small rhinestone buckle in the center. You could also use a sharpie to draw something like this on the cups instead.
- Add whipped cream and top with two OREO cookies for Mickey "Ears".
Here are some red gelatin snack cups that would work for this.
- Snack Pack Strawberry 4pk or Super Size 6pk.
- Kool Aid Gels Cherry 4pk
- JELLO Strawberry 4pk - note that these need to be refrigerated.

Bring on the real WDW vibe with popcorn.
Here's what to do.
- Buy small popcorn buckets.
- Cut circle out of thick construction paper, card stock or foam and tape them onto the popcorn boxes. I used a 2" circle punch to help.
- Serve popcorn in the Mickey boxes.
These small popcorn boxes worked perfectly for this.
Transform a Halloween Bucket for Christmas
Here's what to do:
- Use a Mickey or Disney Halloween Trick or Treat Bucket that's not too heavily themed and add a gift bow for a quick touch of Christmas. I got mine at Spirit Halloween last October.
- Serve Christmas themed candy in your bucket.
Here is a great example of a Mickey Treat Bucket that would work for both holidays.
Check Local Stores for Holiday Sweets
Disney parties don't ONLY offer Mickey Mouse treats, you be sure to see what else is readily available to you.
In year's past, they gave away large Santa cookies that look very similar to these mini cookies that I just found at my local Publix. Total score.
MICKEY VERY MERRY BALLOONS & DECORATIONS
When planning my Disney Christmas party ideas, I found some very simple goodies.
Very Merry Balloon Arch - For a big punch with little effort, try a themed balloon arch. They are my favorite ways to decorate a party table nowadays. Here's how to do this:
With an inexpensive balloon arch kit, you can create one in a little as an hour. I used high quality Red Balloons and Green Balloons. Then, to make my arch pop, I added a red Mickey Mouse Foil Balloon from this multi-pack.
Another helpful tool is a Electric Balloon Pump. It's a huge asset when wanting to blow up a lot of balloons super quickly.
Mickey Christmas Banner - I found a super cute and inexpensive option and it's just perfect for this party.
This festive Mickey Garland is perfect to quickly decorate for a Disney holiday party.
Glowing Mickey Mouse LED Light - is such a fun addition to your party table.
It's an affordable option and this Mickey Mouse LED Light can be used for many things even after your party is over. Score.
